Plan B

Burner Overhaul Plan

The “B” Plan includes a yearly cleaning of your oil burner. Labor and parts are billed at regular rates. A yearly cleaning helps your burner operate efficiently, may prevent unexpected service problems, and can help reduce oil usage.

Vacuuming the unit
Flushing oil lines
Replacing nozzle, oil filter, air filter, and pump strainer
Lubricating motors
Checking chimney draft
Combustion efficiency test
Garber oil filter replacement: $13 additional

Plan A

Basic Security Service Plan

The “A” Plan includes a yearly cleaning of your oil burner, along with an equipment insurance program. If a covered issue occurs, Mel & Sons will repair or replace the covered Plan A parts at no cost to you.

Plan A+

Complete Security Service Plan

The “A+” Plan includes a yearly cleaning and a broader equipment insurance program. It includes all covered Plan A parts, plus additional plumbing and water-related parts listed under Plan A+.

Expanded protection for plumbing/water parts
Covers 12 additional Plan A+ parts
Repairs or replacements for covered parts at no cost

Additional Zone Coverage

All Plan A and Plan A+ contracts cover the main heating zone in the system. Additional zones may be covered for an additional $25.00 per zone. This option applies only to hot water systems and does not apply to forced hot air or steam systems.

Tank Protection Plan

Tank-Pro Program

Tank-Pro is an oil tank protection program designed to help extend the life of your oil tank and provide warranty protection against leaking. Your tank is treated once a year with a liquid corrosion inhibitor. If a covered tank leaks under the Tank-Pro warranty, it will be replaced at no charge.
